We’ve decided to open the doors of our vineyard in Rousset-les-Vignes, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale region, to anyone who wants to immerse themselves closely in the day-to-day management of the land, the cultivation of the vines and, of course, the actual winemaking process. How it works
The application lets you supervise the entire process, from vine cultivation to the creation of your wine. Regularly, you’ll be invited to vote on which operations you want to conduct. The results of your vote will then be implemented on your plot and your wine. But you can rest assured that the options proposed will never jeopardize your vineyard or your wine. Your vineyard manager and cellar master will always be there to provide guidance.
Choose your plot
The domaine will present you with several plots, with all the necessary information to help you make your choice: grape variety, terroir, altitude, soil type, etc. Once you’ve chosen your plot, you will be able to select it.
Choose your square
The available plots are divided into 12 m2 squares. Each corresponding to 12 vines. These vines will be yours for the full length of the campaign in which you are participating, for 18 months.
Become a member of a guild
Each plot is assigned to a guild. Once you’ve chosen a square in the plot, you become a member of that plot’s guild. The guild is a group of “co-winemakers” who will decide, by majority vote, which actions have to be carried out on the plot, and therefore on your square.
Create your wine
With the help of the team on the domaine, not only will you grow your own vines, but you’ll also make your own wine. The domaine guarantees that your grapes will be carefully kept separately, and will go into a vat dedicated exclusively to your guild. Afterwards, with the help of the cellar master, you will create your own wine.
Some information about the launch
A vinification campaign typically lasts around 18 months. However, participants can join the campaign at any time they wish. Regardless of their entry point, they will still experience a full 18-month campaign, culminating in the creation of their wine. Depending on their entry time, they may experience operations on a staggered schedule.
A winemaking campaign consists of four main phases: Vine cultivation, harvesting, winemaking, and aging.
Each guild owns a plot, which in most cases consists of a single grape variety. As wine can be a blend, each guild can exchange part of its production with another guild. The domaine itself can also provide juices from other grape varieties available.

I’m glad to present MYVINY, an application that opens the door to our vineyard in Rousset-les-Vignes, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale region. Here, you’ll discover the age-old secrets of vine-growing and winemaking. Our vineyard will be yours…
The region’s winemaking tradition has been deeply rooted for over 2,500 years. Our vines have weathered many seasons, and to ensure that they are well cared for, we have opted for organic farming, a choice that respects both the environment and people.
As for MyViny, it’s the product of three of my passions: computing, geology and, above all, wine. Throughout my career, I’ve sought to create mediation tools to better understand our world; today, I want to make it easier to discover and share in the life of a winemaker! Smartphones and computers are superb tools that open up the world to us in a click.
But make no mistake, there’s nothing virtual about MyViny: the actions are real, both in the vineyard and on the wine you’re about to create.

How does the application work?
MYVINY introduces remote winemaking. Control your vineyard, where plots are equipped with sensors and webcams, communicate with the winemakers and make informed decisions to create your own wine, wherever you are!

You’re now a member of the MYVINY community. It’s time to choose your plot and become a member of a guild. For 18 months, you’ll be making your own wine. It’s a real training program in the world of wine and a social network connected to reality.

Julie, our Cellar Master at domaine de la Bouvaude, holds a NDO (National Diploma in Oenology). She will be on hand to advise you on the best way to manage your plot. You will also have the opportunity to meet her during our live video tastings.
The different stages of your winegrowing journey
Select a plot
Choose the plot that suits you best. We’ll give you all the information you need. Is your plot selected? Congratulations, you’ve become a member of the guild for this plot. Your task is to nurture the vines and create your own wine.
Manage your plot’s development
Once you’ve chosen your plot, you can select a square covering approximately 12 square meters. You are the “owner” of this square for the whole campaign. However, as you cannot manage the cultivation of a single square, your decisions will be made jointly by your Guild for the entire plot.
Discuss with members of your guild and the team at the domaine
You’ll be able to vote for the right decision. Your decisions will be implemented on the plot, and you will be able to monitor them remotely.

You can talk to the experts on your team, or get outside advice. But the most important thing is to make the right decision.
Vote
The winemaking campaign lasts about 18 months. Every month, you’ll have to make at least 2 decisions. The choices will be suggested by the manager of the land or the cellar master. These actions will influence your cultivation, your winemaking, and therefore your final product. The final decision is taken according to the results of the votes of all the members of the guild.
Vineyard maintenance
Your primary mission is to maintain the health of the vines and their fruits. It is necessary to react to the natural hazards: pest attacks or sudden freezes, as well as to fertilize. The manager of the land’s mission is to preserve the vineyard. Therefore, none of the proposed choices proposed will jeopardize your plot. However, the quality of the wine depends on a succession of good choices throughout the year…
Controlling our carbon footprint and impact on the planet
Sustainable viticulture is a key value of your mission. All your actions will have an impact. Our mission is to create the best possible wine with the least possible impact on nature.
Creating your wine
Following the harvest, it’s time to prepare the grapes for fermentation, select and install vats for ageing, and choose – if you and your guild opt for it – the grape varieties to create a blend. It’s a complex process. There’s two good news: the plots are on exceptional terroir, and the cellar master won’t let you jeopardize your wine. However, you hold the keys. At the end of the campaign, a blind tasting by professionals will determine the best wine.
Styling your bottles
Once your wine has been created, it needs to be bottled and personalized to create a complete product. Create the label for your 6 bottles. It will then be printed and placed on your bottles. The label on the back of the bottle with the legal information will be created by the domaine.
Managing the domaine
You are the owner of a square within a plot managed by your guild. But these plots, along with the other plots, together constitute a domaine that shares the infrastructure needed for cultivation and vinification. Regularly, all guilds will be consulted to determine the choices that will impact the entire domaine.

Taste
Before your wine is ready, you’ll receive a batch of 6 bottles (75cl) from the domaine, along with samples (37cl) of the same cuvées. These samples will enable you to take part in tasting classes for the wines you have received…
Entrepreneurship
Making your own wine will help you understand the various operating steps involved in the campaign. Among these steps, you’ll take part in the management of the domaine, and if you feel like it, you’ll be able to get closer, within reach of the wine market by communicating about your plots, or even marketing your own wine…
Participate
The application lets you remotely control a domaine, but keep in mind that the domaine is real, your plot is real, your square is real, your vine stocks are real. If you want to touch your vines, handle the tools, work, or simply enjoy the wind on your skin in the middle of the domaine, you’re at home!
You’ll have the opportunity to share your wine, symbol of your efforts, with your friends, in the heart of your vineyard. These vines that you’ve tended to and preserved, and which in return will give you just a rustle of their leaves…
