Participating in the cultivation of your vineyard is simple and exciting. A campaign to create your own wine lasts around 18 months, offering a unique seasonal adventure. Here’s how you’ll be involved:

Vote for operations: as the seasons go by, you’ll receive invitations to vote on the operations to be carried out on the vineyard. These votes are essential in deciding which actions to take. Expect a minimum of two solicitations per month, but sometimes more depending on weather conditions.

Your influence counts: your new passion for viticulture gives you the power to shape the destiny of your plot. Every vote helps to determine the decisions that are important for the vine’s growth.

Weather-dependent interactivity: as a virtual viticulturist, your new job is closely linked to the weather. Additional demands can be made depending on weather conditions, adding a realistic dimension to your experience.

Field application: once decisions have been taken by the community, they will be applied directly in the field. You’ll see the impact of your votes on the health and development of your vines.

Visual feedback: for real-time monitoring, you’ll receive videos and images captured by the plot’s webcam, enabling you to visualize the concrete results of your actions.

Yes, sure. There are already fellow Canadians participating in MyViny!

The minimum amount to participate is $300, but this is not an investment per se. It’s more like a subscription. The subscription includes access to the MyViny platform, where you can chat with a community of wine enthusiasts. It also includes six bottles from the Domaine de la Bouvaude, as well as six bottles that you can help to develop and which will bear your personalized labels. By joining MyViny, you can also come and visit the estate to see what’s going on in the field.

Hello. Not yet, but it’s an interesting idea. We made a note of it and maybe offer it one day if there’s enough demand.

Here’s how it works: MyViny allows you to become an owner of a 12 m² vineyard plot for 18 months. Throughout the campaign, you manage your plot in collaboration with your guild (you and the other members of your shared plot). Together, you make decisions on various operations at the plot, cellar, and estate levels.

MyViny’s co-winegrowers vote within their guild on decisions like shoot thinning, blending, treatments for mildew, or even which type of cover crop to plant between rows to retain moisture and avoid chemical treatments.

At all times, co-winegrowers can monitor their plot using a dashboard displaying metrics like humidity, temperature, video feeds, etc.

At the end of the campaign, each co-winegrowers can create their own label and receive six bottles of their creation.
